If you’ve been to the West side of the US you probably noticed those long drive through lines outside In-N-Out Burger (a chain store not a franchise).
Unlike other burger chains that have 10 compo meals, infamous low paid workers, and super unhealthy image, In-N-Out is totally opposite.
Here are some business lessons learned from their success:
- Simple menu: Don’t waste your customers mind to make an order
- Great products: Everything is freshly prepared, nothing frozen or pre-cooked
- Cool culture: It has a huge fan base. They treat both their workers and customers well (won’t upsell you “do you want to add cheese and fries?” or supersize your drink).
So, yeah, DO ONE THING, BUT DO IT WELL.
