It all depends on what assets you have. Assets can be money, telnet, contacts, …
In general, we need to go back to basics, i.e. real stuff: gold, farming, and economies that produce real substances and sustained by population who have savings not credit cards. According to some surveys, Bangladesh is one of the emerging markets that is not affected by the current financial crisis.
What about if someone who doesn’t have money and have skills, say eCommerce? You use your skills and build a service or product for a market that can sustain your business.

in al hamdulillah brother I’ve have found your articles very interesting. This recent article about gold especially cought my attention. My name is Saadik Al-Ahmary and I am a US citizen living in Sierra Leone. I am a part of a network of other expatriots living in West africa along with several African nationals. Together we have two certified gemologist and have licenses in gold and diamonds in Sierra Leone, Ghana, Guinea Conakry, and Mali. We also have access to several acres of land in the afore mentioned countries that be developed into mining concessions.
