Yes, everyday that we deal with Riba/interests, we are actually evoking Allah’s war against us.

يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا اتَّقُوا اللَّهَ وَذَرُوا مَا بَقِيَ مِنَ الرِّبَا إِنْ كُنْتُمْ مُؤْمِنِينَ فَإِنْ لَمْ تَفْعَلُوا فَأْذَنُوا بِحَرْبٍ مِنَ اللَّهِ وَرَسُولِهِ

[2:278] O ye who believe! Fear Allah, and give up what remains of your demand for usury, if ye are indeed believers. [2:279] If ye do it not, take notice of war from Allah and His Messenger

Not just that, but every penny that we earn from haram, can block our supplications from being answered.

Just imagine yourself stranded in the middle of a desert, no gas stations, no AAA, no highway patrol, and you raise your hands to ask Allah, and guess what? your supplication is not answered, because of haram income.

Brothers and sisters… Allah didn’t give you Islam so you suffer and limit your wealth. NO, Allah, the most merciful, blessed you with Islam so you succeed in earning halal income, and go to the jannah.

Remember, the one who set the halal and haram, is also the ultimate provider who owns everything.

“But to Allah belong the treasures of the heavens and the earth.” [63:7]

So, brothers and sisters, it’s time for you to learn from the birds, and stop doubting about Allah.

“If you had all relied on Allah (SWT) as you should rely on Him, then He would have provided for you as He provides for the birds, who wake up hungry in the morning and return with full stomachs at dusk.” -At-Tirmithi
